GARDEN OF DECAY Part Ways With Singer
June 18, 2006Belgian melodic death metallers GARDEN OF DECAY have parted ways with founding member, female singer Claude Remacle, due to musical differences. The band will continue as a five-piece with only male vocalist Quentin.
GARDEN OF DECAY have also announced plans to head into a slightly different musical direction, integrating some new influences like progressive metal and rock bands such as PORCUPINE TREE, RIVERSIDE, PINK FLOYD, blended with death, heavy and power metal. The style can be described as a mix between THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, MONSTER MAGNET, TOOL, IN FLAMES, PORCUPINE TREE and DREAM THEATER.
GARDEN OF DECAY will make their next live appearance on June 28 at the FesPival in Brussels, Belgium.
